I have no idea what you're talking about because like I said this is my first time trying to make a video

Okay so

Make frames record at 5fps then with "Lock framerate while recording" checked

Take the clip once you're done recording and then speed it up 12x

To adjust speed using velocity
right click clip > insert/remove envelope > velocity
Then you mess about with the green line that appears over the clip to speed up/slow down your video by adding points and raising/lowering them

You'll get used to it
