Also the same thing happened with the Halo movie they said was gonna come out in summer 2009. Now it's pushed back I believe.

Alphas and betas are different things. Yes. They were alphas given to very close members like admins back then and Nabi people. Don't expect a beta for a while. hampa wants to focus on TB to make it as good as it can be.
