ormo is more of a goal than a title. and even then, joining ormo should not be seen primarily as an achievement but as an indication of what your future could be. making replays because they are fun is the #1 priority, but there are people who are competitive by nature or have fun by being influential and changing paradigms, and ormo can be a good indication of whether or not they could ever achieve that.
i like to think of it as a good confidence booster aswell. it's completely reasonable to say that the elitism ormo has is merely mythical, but if that mythical elitism makes people want to try harder then it's fine by me
