Here is an Idea
Get rid of move memory, it's basically all anyone ever uses there's no originality no skill it's just pulling up a menu and selecting a move that you probably copied from someone else.
...Is that a serious question?

without move memory a large amount of moves that people use would be forgotten and a majority of the time people only know these complex moves due to it being a button press away.

Without move memory maybe there wouldn't be so many high dan belts that are completely s**t at the game.

I'm really interested to get to the root of what you seem to think is the issue here. I really doubt that it's because for some reason you really take issue to high dan belts being bad at the game.

(I don't even really know how you can conclude that with your admirable 92 games played.
Not to mention that there are pretty simple explanations for why they could be bad. Eg:
- Qi is games played - either won or lost. A player could lose 5000 games or win 5000 games and be the same belt.
- Maybe they got to a high belt years ago and now don't play much?)

So let me ask you for starters, how do you know so many people are using move memory?
Yeah it is true that move memory makes it easier for people to just copy and perform "complex" moves. But even without move memory, that task (copying and performing "complex" moves) are not that hard anyway.
It is really up to the players if they want to actually learn to improvise and not being completely dependent on youtube videos memorized moves.

Besides, how do you plan on removing move memory? It is a well-known lua script that has been downloaded by many people. Even if it is removed from this site, people can just upload and share it anywhere else.

I'm down to get rid of move memory to stop rigging but not because of what you said i'd say that's not even a problem.
Rigging is a much bigger problem however and it's made possible by move memory.

who said I'm not an alt?
Anyway you might not realise, but doing a move over and over again (aka like doing a noob clap into a knee) that is basically move memory without move memory, move memory is to make it easier for the player than doing the move over and over again with your mouse, personally I don't use it but I am guessing that is why. So I think the creator made it as an easier way to do your opener

This is pretty much the only good reason to get rid of move memory that will be mentioned in this thread, but even then it'd be dumb to get rid of it.

Why does that even matter? Move memory isn't causing people to be bad at this game, some people are just naturally bad. I'm a black belt, but I play like a yellow belt.
