Lighting for 'cartoon' ?

You could try out cel shading, you might be familiar with this in 3D, its a cartoonish way of shading your character. Basically what it means is that you divide your shading up in layers, the amount of layers you can decide yourself.

Here are some good examples of this way of shading.

Good example of lighting.

as you can see you can shade your character quite well with just using a small palette.

But what you need to understand is that even if you create cartoon characters you still need a strong understanding of anatomy and lighting or else everything will look off, and you won't know which propotions to exaggerate correctly.
For shadow, i use a 'multiply' layer - 25% Opacity - Black Color
For lightning, i use a 'normal' layer - 75% Opacity - White Color

and idk which is good :[LIST1][*]Like this[*]Or like
lightning, i use a 'normal' layer - 75% Opacity - White Color

Anyway

This is pretty cool tho
I will try to draw like that

Thx anyway
