About making heads
Okay I know how to make teh body textures I have already made some and I am wanting to open up my own custom shop to sell custom textures to people that want to pay a small fee. But I am having trouble with the heads, I followed the dumbass tut and still dont understand how to use the template. I use Photoshop Cs4 if that is any help.

Please help me out with this or I will do that to myself.
Basically when you make a head you need to squish it horizontally 50 - 60% so it looks right when mapped on the tori, but the texture still has to be 128x128

I normally make the 'facial features' on a separate layer & scale it separately from the rest.

Kinda - the image needs to be squashed up - but it still needs to be 128x128.

That's why I work in layers.

Not off hand - the pc I'm on doesn't have photoshop installed.

I can show you what I mean.

If I just drew a face on a texture like this:

It would look like this in game:

Kinda deformed.

However scaling the face horizontally by 60% Makes this:

Which looks like this in game:

See the difference? It's due to the way spheres are mapped.

Yeah thinks alot for the help. Hey did you use gimp to make it do the globe thing? or is there a way to do that in ps? lol.
I used GIMP. TBH I'm not a big PS fan, but that's a matter of taste.
