In this installation mode, you can download the archive from. Once downloaded, you can extract the contents of the archive to any location of your choice. After extracting the files, you can run the included .exe file to launch ToriEditor.

In this installation mode, you will need a Python interpreter and additional libraries. Follow the steps below:



a. Download the two required Python files from my GitHub repository at https://github.com/PourpreTB/ToriEditor.

b. Install a Python interpreter if you don't have one already. You can download Python from the official website (https://www.python.org/downloads/) and follow the installation instructions for your operating system.

c. Open a terminal or command prompt and navigate to the directory where you downloaded the ToriEditor Python files.

d. Install the required libraries by running the following commands:

pip install sys
pip install os
pip install requests
pip install pyqt5

This will install the necessary libraries (sys, os, requests, and PyQt5) that ToriEditor relies on.

e. Once the dependencies are installed, run the main Python file using the following command:

python ToriEditor.py

This will launch ToriEditor and you can start customizing your Tori's colors/items.

Please note that in the "GitHub Files" mode, you will need to have Python and the required libraries installed on your system. Make sure to follow the installation instructions for your specific operating system.

If you want the modifications made to your Tori to be preserved for each new game, I recommend removing your items from the active inventory beforehand. Otherwise, these items will reappear every time and might cause some issues.

Oh, by the way, I've noticed that there can sometimes be minor bugs where the folder regenerates items even if they're not present in your active inventory. Unfortunately, I haven't found a solution to this problem yet. If you have any ideas, I'm all ears!

Now you can create your own presets and share them with other ToriEditor users.

To load a preset, go to the "Presets" tab. Then, select one of the available preset slots and click on the "Modify Preset" button. A first pop-up will ask for the name of your preset, and a second pop-up will ask for the preset ID. Simply paste the preset ID into the field. Once done, you can select your preset, click on "Load," and then click on "Apply."


To share your preset, after selecting your modifications, click on the "Get Preset ID" button. Then, press the "Copy Preset ID" button to copy it directly to the clipboard. You can then share the preset ID with others.
