[Omega] Serious recruitment shake-up
Our clan has been getting some bad reports lately, down to the immaturity of some of our members and serveral instances of texture theft. I am therefore implementing a new, more stringent recruitment process.
Recruitment
To join Omega, applicants must first fill out this form:
Name:
Age (Must be 13 or over due to the immaturity of some younger members. We can't have irresponsible 11 year olds running around with the Omega tag):
Posts (Must be over 100 so that members have some experience in the forums):
Qi (Must be over 1200, to prevent new black belts who are still living in the world of the semipro servers joining):
Previous ban/infraction history:
What can you give to the clan (eg. textures, items, tc. If textures, please post examples):
How long do you play per day:
Active ingame/forums/IRC:
When an applicant has filled out this form, members will post either yes or no. If an applicant gets at least 4 "yes"s, he is in the clan.
Members penalty points
I also suggest having an infraction system similer to the Toribash infraction points scheme. Points are given to a player if they commit offences either ingame or in the forums, such as flaming, texture theft and general rule-breaking. If a player gets 3 points, he is kicked from the clan and blacklisted. A member may get 3 points in one go for a serious offence, but normally only one or two points are given. Having infraction points will also lower a members chance of becoming a mod or a co-leader. Points expire after 3 months.
Please read this thread for a list of infracted members.
I hope that this tightening of the rules will help keep Omega as the toribash elite, and not the toribash joke.
Thanks for your time.
