Your ignorance of sports is almost amusing.
I could post tons of videos of sports people in near death or fatal situations, but I'll just name a few you can google them or whatever.
Clint Malarchuck Hockey goalie cut in his throat by a skate. Survived
Sam Vasquez MMA fighter died six weeks after a fight
Miklos Feher Soccer player collapsed and died during a match
Mitsuharu Misawa Pro Wrestler died during a match after a routine throw
Ronnie Peterson Formula 1 driver suffered multiple fractions to his legs and third grade burns, didn't survive the surgery to his legs.
I don't watch American football too much but I think almost every year atleast one player dies during a practice or a match because of heat exhaustion, not exactly sure about this.
Almost every contact sport player has suffered atleast mild concussions wich aren't too healthy and some suffer complications(constant headache for example) for the rest of their lives.
Just type sport accident on youtube and you see how these pro athelets put their lives at risk.
I'll continue after I get back from my test.
