So, you see, I read all of the books, and couldn't wait for the movie. I saw the movie, and it didn't follow the storyline AT ALL.
Here are some examples (SPOILER ALERT- Scroll down for examples.):




























































1. In the book, Percy wasn't claimed by Poseidon until later in the book.
2. Clarisse, Percy's enemy, wasn't in the movie.
3. Ares didn't appear at all in the movie.
4. Luke was the thief instead of Ares.
