# Ubuntu (philosophy), an ethic or humanist philosophy often summarized as humanity towards others

# Nelson Mandela explained Ubuntu as follows.

“ A traveler through our country would stop at a village, and he didn't have to ask for food or for water. Once he stops, the people give him food, entertain him. That is one aspect of Ubuntu but Ubuntu has various aspects. Ubuntu does not mean that people should not enrich themselves. The question therefore is: Are you going to do so in order to enable the community around you to improve? ”

IDEA

Basically I am creating a clan based not on skill, as I view skill as secondary to being a mature and helpful (and active) member. This does not mean a spam in the Wibbles board would be disallowed, however immature flaming/spamming in other instances would be offenses, unless there was a reason. Helping where you can is vital to maintain a active member of this clan.

Due to these factors I believe that the clan shall grow slowly, however I have no problem with that.

RECRUITING

Any member may recommend someone for recruition, however they shall have to be personally interviewed by the adviser/leader. They shall be tested for ability to play the game ( /10) and personality (/30). A score of
25 would be considered a pass on a trail period, and a score of 30 + would be a acceptance into the clan.

KICKABLE OFFENSES

- Spamming after warnings.
- Inactivity.
- Flaming after a warning.
- Flaming for no reason ( Immediate Kick).
- Lack of grammar. >.>

LEADER SYSTEM

The leader shall be elected from amongst the most helpful clan member's to the general community, and/or the best person amongst them. The leader shall have absolute power until they make a grave error and or a period of one month passes. Then there shall be a new election.

The leader shall be in charge of maintenance and all other issues, as well as events.

The Adviser shall be me, permanently, and I shall have the power to seize command at any point in time if required. This is to stop mass derailing of the clan by a foolish leader. Also the leader can delegate certain aspects of the clan to the Adviser, eg. Roll Calls, Events.

Leaders ( but not Advisers) can be impeached at any time if the majority of the members , or the Adviser, feel like they are unworthy. During this process the Adviser leads the clan until a successor is declared.
