[Disc] The 'perfect' mobile/portable device.
It's been a big topic of inventors and designers trying to find the best application of portable computing power, Mobile phones, tablets, netbooks and strange devices such as sixth sense.
So I wanted to discuss what you guys think, heres a few questions to get your mind rolling:
What (generic) features are necessary? Do you want it to be able to make phone calls or should we all be making 'free' internet calls like skype now-a-days?
What (software) applications are necessary? Do we need an app store or such for developers to get stuck in to, should it be open with a simple API or closed to speed up development and the cost of some freedom?
What (hardware) kind of power does it need? Are we distend to go cloud, can we handle the possibility that when we loose internet the device is basicaly unable to process as it would normally? Or should we instead focus on improving mobile device hardware to it's peek?
How do you imagine us interfacing with it?
Gogogo!
[EDIT] By the way you can simply choose to rant or only answer one question, the questions are mostly suggestions.
