Too much fruit on the cake
And everyone knows that people who have the same opinions gather up and live together will make every single of them happy. But here's the problem: in my opinion, everything has good and bad. So if everyone do it, they will soon discover that the problem is getting worse and worse, so they eventually have to look for people to help them. I don't think there's a difference in smart and dumb. If dumb people interact with each other, they will get dumber. The cavemen surely had a few wise men who gave them ideas on how to improve their society. As everyone knows, nothing is perfect. So I think that the government right now is balanced. Group A people are making the country better at statistic A and preventing Group B from toppling over, while Group B people are making the country better at statistic B while preventing Group A from toppling over, as the actions of both groups have different benefits and negatives. But, since they each support different ideas, they will of course have conflict, which is inevitable. That's the way society is, balanced and making people angry at the same time.
