That's because Fox News has to be aware of everything they say. People, like yourself, freak out when they feel they can link words together with past events.
In a perfect world, Fox News or any News provider shouldn't have to worry that their viewers will misinterpret what they say. Perhaps you should be less critical and instead of jumping to conclusions, just ask what I meant.

You understand that in other parts of the world they report their news based on local events? Why would any American news provider report about deaths in Malaysia? To the vast majority of their viewers it wouldn't be relevant. But a terrorist attack on U.S soil? That's much more relevant.
There's nothing wrong with honoring the dead everywhere, but it's literally impossible to personally respect each death.
