Apparently Ares and Mars is the same but with different persona, it root from when Roman invade Greek, they change the greek god that has bewildered persona to discipline persona (they called it Romanization).So, that's why people sometimes mixed up with the fact
so technically Kratos isn't a god of war but god of power
