I'll just get this out of the way before things like this pop up again.
It matters little how poor or hard your life is, some people aren't as strong as others. I know people that have been rich and suicidal and I've known people that have been poor and happy. It all depends on how well you handle situations. Lincoln obviously handled them well.
I mean yeah in some cases people are poor and it brings them down, but it really irritates me when people play the whole "so and so has it better than so and so, therefore they should not be depressed and or suicidal" card.
