Basically, I'd like to get a list started of all the awesome channels people frequent. YouTube has become a substitute for television and other forms of entertainment for a lot of people; however, they have no idea who to subscribe to anymore. So if you have some suggestions: post them up here and I'll check them out before adding.
If you're going to suggest something: please at least do the favor of adding a brief explanation of what you'll find at the channel and why you like it.
ConCon is a solid YouTube channel where he goes through gaming Toribash Tutorials (amongst a few other games) and holds very interactive events. Definitely a cool one to check out. ConCon obviously runs it.
Toirbash Esports is a channel run by LesDuncan which sets out to accomplish a lot of different things. He hosts his own tournaments with nice prizes, does move tutorials for step by step openers, and tries to capture duels between players. Definitely worth checking out
JonTron, an ex-Grump, is just a funny guy who makes YouTube videos where he reviews usually older games. He animates it all and uses in-game footage in a clever, comedic way.
Tonakai, an awesome staff member of the Toribash community has created a let's play channel. So if you wanna follow his personality through different games, check this out!
ProJared, part of the normal boots community, is a game reviewer. My personal favorite is when he does video game reviews, mainly of indie games, within 1 minute. These segments are great for you to get a good idea of how solid a game is without having to spend 15-30 minutes watching some douche sound pretentious about color palette choices.
Jirard's niche is completing video games 100%, whether they be Rhythm games like beating every song in Guitar Hero on expert, or insanely notoriously hard games like Dark Souls. He walks you threw the steps in about ~20 minute long videos, explaining whether or not he considered it worth it to complete, beat, or even touch the game.
Continue show is great because it's not a let's play, nor necessarily a full review show, but a "First impression" show. Three guys on a couch play the first 10-30 minutes of a game, compress the footage, add their own jokes, and then decide whether or not it'd be worth it to keep playing. Very funny, also part of the normal boots family.
