Should prejudice be punishable?
Should prejudice be punishable?
- I am only referring to unfair and harmful prejudices, not the act of simply having an under-informed opinion.
- We are assuming that only openly expressed and advertised prejudice could be punished.
- Please try to keep on topic. I don't want to see comments about whether modern society overacts to prejudice because societies current moral stance is almost entirely irrelevant to our discussion.
- I will add more bullet points if I feel they are needed.
I understand that a lot of threads have discussed prejudice of one form or another at great length. However, of all of those which I have read, none have managed to maintain much of a focus on a specific question, so I figured it was worth a try.
--This is only my third discussion thread so please PM me if anything should be changed.
