About time I made an Art Thread. Here's where I'll be uploading
non-texture art and textures.
Big images will be in spoilers with information on the image at the bottom (in the spoiler).
Feel free to critique and cnc.
All textures listed as "
" are free to use and free to alter, but you are not allowed to claim them as your own, redistribute them, or resell them, even if altered.

I am currently trying to make a Chopper from One Piece
head texture. I will go from hand-drawn sketch to

am drawing drew the post-time-skip version of Chopper.
Drawn with pen on paper and then scanned.
This is the first wip which is just the sketch of the head.
It's always easier to hand-draw things for me.

Anyway, I got down the initial mapping, but moved a few
things on Gimp, and some others may be moved around, and
shapes re-shaped to conform to the mapping.
I fixed the mapping..
I got the coloring done, but still feels like there's something missing...
Added some texturing to the fur and stuff..
CnC encouraged.

Here I tried to improve the mapping, but messed up the jaw
and other stuff. xD
Here I fixed the jaw and the ear with red on one side.
I also made mapped out those meat spots better.
Here I started doing the lines. I've never done anything like this,
so my paths aren't the best. I also kinda messed up the jaw again. xD
Updates are that I fixed the jaw* and I added some of the
inking/lines on the 'meaty' parts.
I kinda messed up the chin and throat/neck, so I'll have to
fix that.
Update: Drew in the teeth and fixed the throat/neck.
Started the coloring/shading..
Still have to draw more lines for the 'meaty' parts around
the mouth and fix the shading of the back of the head.
And of course finish the coloring/shading and the eyes.

Gave up on the other style.. Might leave it at this.. or maybe try again sometime.
I didn't like wip 7's coloring and stuff, but I think I got the
mapping correct.. Anyway, am using the same mapping,
just this time am going for a more "painted' look.
More shading and coloring.. Added the teeth also.
Still need to fix the back's shading, I see.
More shading and coloring.. Plus added the eyes. Looking pretty finished.

I was just trying out a brush and figured I'd make something with it, so here
is this.. All of it was made by the same brush, which is a sort of dried paint-brush brush.
I also was playing around with mixing different colors.

Just caught up to this manga and I loved it so much!
I just had to make something from it, so out of nowhere I thought, why not The Scream?
Anyway, the characters in this are Ebisu in the front, and Shin and Noi in the back.

I've been taking an Oil painting class and for our first painting, we've started with still-
life first in monochromatic and then we're adding color.
It's my first Oil painting ever, lets see how it goes.
So, I should've taken pictures of it when I was sketching and working on it little by little,
but I forgot..
Anyway, I finished the Monochromatic of it the other day (one color value) and did take a
picture..
I'll try to upload images as I color it, if I remember.
I did some of the color.. Will probably have to add some more layers to get
a better shade on some.. The background/ground looks like it's gonna be a
real pain..
The background is a pain, as predicted.. Also started coloring the 'cube'
Painted with acrylic paints on an 8"x 9" or something canvas.
My first real acrylic painting.. Hope you like.
Tokyo Ghoul is such a fantastic series! The anime was enjoyable,
but the manga is so amazing!
This specific scene is from towards the end of the manga.
