Couldn't find a thread for this, which is odd since the game is nearly two years old, but yeah. I've been playing this game a shit ton after having it sit in my library for 6 months, and I'm really enjoying it.
Fulfill Your Quest For Global Domination!
Paradox Development Studio is back with the fourth installment of the award-winning Europa Universalis series. The empire building game Europa Universalis IV gives you control of a nation to guide through the years in order to create a dominant global empire. Rule your nation through the centuries, with unparalleled freedom, depth and historical accuracy. True exploration, trade, warfare and diplomacy will be brought to life in this epic title rife with rich strategic and tactical depth.
To explain a little more thoroughly and simply: this is a strategy game, with emphasis on historical accuracy and depth. Europa Universalis is based in the 1400s - 1800s, with a very Euro-centric view of the world. However, you can play as any major nation/civilization that existed during that time. Anyways I'm no good at explaining so here's some videos and screenshots to hopefully help you figure out what the game is all about.
