I think a large drawback for new players is having to create a separate account for Toribash, in addition to their steam account (assuming they're playing through steam, which I assume most toribash players are, and most future toribash players will). The fact that you can't play the game immediately after you've installed it, and the fact that you have to remember another username/password likely drives new players away.

So I propose that we do away with the Toribash account system of old, or at least not make it mandatory. Further integration with steam in-game (and possibly on the forums) would allow for a smoother introduction to Toribash from Steam players, and as a result grow our player base.
