[Art] Watercoloring Some Anime
I bought my first watercolour set a year ago
...but have been using it like poster paint for almost a year
so I decided to actually learn how to watercolor instead of use it like poster paint
Heads up, if you don't want to see girls in suggestive clothing/poses, leave.
For the sake of practice and not ruining good sketches, I decided to use some images from the internet as reference.
I will post my references along with the picture in the spoiler. Nothing is traced, just heavily based on the internet
there's a little note on each spoiler so please read it.
if someone can find the source, please pm me.
I thought when I first made this, it was pretty cool and i liked the outcome. Now that I look at it even more, I realise how little detail and shading there is in terms of shading. You can also see white splogges and stuff. The more I look at it, the more I hate it (if that makes sense)
This is still a WIP.
Really like the skin. I decided to add more tones instead of the two tone used in the Yuno Gasai watercolour. Really like the way it is going.
I don't understand why people hate the God Eater anime, to be honest. I understand the gaps of production, but why are they hating on the animation? I really like the detail and execution.
I absolutely love the character design on Amiellla. I always loved white/silver haired girls in anime (Yuki Nagato, Tachibana Kanade, The white haired girl in Clannad, etc). Most of the people stated here are calm and peaceful, but they have a super power behind them. What makes Alisa special, however, is her backstory. Her apparel is also pretty unique as well. I haven't seen anything similar. Please disprove me if you know someone with similar character design.
I did her left arm (right from my perspective) as well has her hair, leggings and tried adding light tones on the skin.
I need to learn how to watercolour hair.
tools:
watercolours
watercolour paper
2B / HB Pencil
Cnc is much appreciated. Love ya'll
