[Origin] The Wake Up Event!
Hello Origin Family, as a slightly "small" project for the clan, and show other clans that [Origin] is still alive and well. Ive been doing a good amount of planning with some Event Squad members and Moderators, and they seem on board to allow us to host a Large forum and In-game Event. Now I have a couple options here below, and if you have any suggestions you can leave them in a response below. Also before the options, I will leave a check list of whats needed in order to host the Event and I will update it every time we achieve whats needed. Basically this event will be 2 In game Tourneys, and 1 Forum Competition

Event Option 1:
Ingame: Basically For an In-game Event, I wanted to make it as serious as possible, so this event will have the highest stakes, meaning the best prize we can offer to first, second, and third. What other mod then ABD lol, (unless there are better official mods like ABD that everyone knows) ABD seemed like the most balance choice for a high stakes prize. Basically the Officials (including myself and who ever we vote into being one) will setup a Skype group chat with each contestant.. and following this bracket right here:
http://i.imgur.com/ifnQDAH.png : depending on where the person is placed we will invite them into a private server as a 1v1 with the person they are going against. and it will be a best of 5.. In a result of a tie (if thats possible) We will simple restart and make it a first to 3.. Since this First event is going to High stakes, I was thinking about making the entry fee around 10k.. Meaning the reward has to Be a good prize.. worth a 10k entry.. and since there are only 16 spots.. First come First serve

For the Second In-game Event, This will be after Event option 1, Event option 2 is once again In-game, and will have about a 1k entry fee, with cheaper but still want-able prizes. Id like to make this tourney more fun based, so it will have more people (naturally): here is a 20 man bracket :
http://i.imgur.com/DdB2CVo.gif : once again we will follow that bracket, make a Skype group chat of all the contestants, and have them all join a server (making sure that they are all able to play and stay for the length of the tourney or at least until there fight). This event will take more officials so we again will vote more people into the officials list to help run the server (including myself). The mod that I have in mind for this would most like be Lenshu, or Erthtk. You know i wanted a mod where you had to use momentum to dm something and not just by tapping them, so I think those 2 mods still take skill, without the random dms and random point counter of boxshu or mushu/wushu.

Forums:
As for the forum Event, Im not to sure. I want it to have to do with artist and their, so I can't decide between having people enter for free and see who can make the best Toribash Texture (full set joints and everything, they will have to show the WiP for proof that it is being painted). But Im not to sure about that because I figure if we put a time limit on it, we could get some really shit results or we can get some real works of art. If not that then we could do who can direct and edit the best video off replays (once again showing us WiP For proof). But videos are easily cut into pieces so they could just take a previously made video and cut it into pieces, also it could encourage video stealing. So I'm not sure what to do for the forum based event/tourney, or if we should do it at all, if you have an idea leave it below.
