I guess more so knowing things irl helped me with some moves, also learning tutorials on how to do the trick irl and in toribash at the same time is a huge benefit when it comes to creating something that looks unique in the way your tori moves. I remember a number of times where id stand up in my room and see how i would move and implement it into the game.
