Yup, that's right, it's a pay game now. HOWEVER, since it's pre-release, it's also
heavily discounted right now. The game is currently $18.00, but when it's done,
it'll be $38.00, so buy it early!
Now, let's go over the new features...

Armor system: It is now possible to add armor to actors, which i personally find
pretty damn cool. So far i've made an armored skeleton, and a brain with a force field...

Crouching: You can now crouch and crawl, so you can take cover and crawl
under low spaces.

Improved AI: Now the enemies will actually be a threat! They find the way to
your brain with the least resistance, and they will utilize diggers to get there!

Drop-ship gibbing: Drop-ships now gib. It's extremely dangerous to gib a flying
drop-ship while standing beneath it...

this looks like a good game....and i have played it before but i personalluy dont think it will be worth $38....it sould be $20 or less.....also...then we should get an even better discount at like $10...pretty fun game tho

I've already been tinkering with the armor system, and i might post some mods soon...

I started playing this game about the time I started playing Toribash, both of them are now an addiction to me, and I bought the game yesterday. This is a pre release of the build 19, so it will be even better in a few day's time.

I strongly recommend this game to people, especially with the modability of the game.

Well actually, it's sort of a platform shooter with kickass physics.
It's extremely moddable as well, and you'll be surprised at what people have made...

Lets do a run down

In the game you're a brain in a jar. But you can control clones and robots and a large range of different movable things. It's a 2D shooter moving into tactical shooter.

At the start of the game you can build a bunker using bunker 'modules' which can be placed anywhere on the map. You can also place actors (soldiers) and weapons here. Using special tools like diggers (which vary in value depending on strength) you can mine gold for more funds.
At the moment endless waves of enemies centre in on your brain, the AI is pretty retarded at the moment but it's quickly improving. You get more clones by sending them in via dropships or rockets.

The main attraction of the game is the sheer modability of it. New weapons, actors, maps and a variety of other things are easily made using .ini files and .bmps and are many are made every day (check out the fan forums).
