Pellet guns? What do you guys think?
I saw the other thread about AirSoft guns. I liked airsoft guns for a while but now I am interested in a pellet gun for some backyard plinking/fun.
I know that they are dangerous, since they can range from 300 fps to 1300 fps. But what do you guys think of pellet guns? Any favorite models? Best pellets to use?

(Same as for airsoft) i myself had pellet guns way before i had airsoft guns.
Pellet guns, you say. Fun target practice, though they're more dangerous than airsoft guns, so you should probably don some safety goggles. Unless you're willing to risk losing an eye to a ricochet. =P
As for the model... Well, can't name any, really. But i'm more of a rifle guy than a pistol guy. Rifles typically have better aim and more power.

I totally agree with that. I like target shooting, but I know some people who hunt with pellet guns. I wouldn't mind using a pellet gun as pet control, but hunting with it would be a little weird.
