Julia Gillard
What the hell?

Do you think this should be allowed, or not?

For those who don't know; Kevin Rudd, Australia's most popular prime minister in history, has been forced down by an internal political coop, orchestrated by the now prime mnister Julia Gillard.
Rudd was gracious, and said "lets not fight this out for months, poll it out tomorrow". The next day the internal factions of the Labor party voted (closely apparently) for Gillard.
So basically, we had our most popular and successful prime minister in history, stolen from us by a back stabbing power hungry left wingest, oh and nobody in the country voted for her, she was not even a candidate.

(inb4, in Australia you vote for parties not leaders, but everyone knows that it is implied that we actually get who we voted for)
When our (UK's) PM was forced to resign and we got Gordon Brown, we had no idea how shit he'd be.
He was worse then who was forced out.

So why did the party not like the old leader, making popular but not the best decisions? There is a difference between being popular and being good (which is why democracy isn't always the best way to go)
:D
Awfully depressed about Kevin Rudd being forced down, and none of Australia got to vote on it. His reputation was decreasing, but it wasn't heavily affecting anything.
I heard they didn't even have a vote, he just stepped down.

I personally don't like it. I don't like her and I don't understand what people like about her, she hasn't done anything to like and she is far from impressive in all aspects of her job.

SWANEY FOR PRIME MINISTER.

If she cans the Super profits Tax I will be voting Liberal this year.

Personally i believe it was a good choice for the labor party.

Soon an election is going to be held. And according to polls and stuff, Kevin Rudd's popularity in australian's were lower then Tony Abbott (opposition ldr). With the red head now as prime minister it gives the labor party a "fresh start", for burden of all the failures Kevin Rudd had like the Mining tax would be on Kevin not Julie. which in the end, maybe boosting the votes for labor party

BUT i still believe that women shouldn't be prime minister :V especially with red hair lool

I want the mining tax through.

I, currently, am not effected by the current decrease in super returns due to mining investment and I certainly am not a miner so I am in no way effected by short term structural unemployment, I am however effected by Fiscal Policy and more importantly inflation. The tax could increase inflation but it will also allow for a budget surplus and hopefully WAY BETTER TRAINS AND SHIT.

I'm all for it. She seems pretty competant and intelligent at least. Now if only she stabs Conroy in the neck and bleeds him out in the middle of Parliament...

Lol, I'm fine with the stupid filter, it's gonna fail and bring shame on his whole lineage for the next 9000 years anyways, so let him go for it. I'll use 7 proxies and get passed that shit.
