USA's affinity with Israeli Jews is disturbing, to say the least. I wonder why Americans would support the hostile invasion and take-over of another country. Perhaps because it is reminiscent of the take-over of Hawaii? Perhaps because of the civil war from which USA was born? Or perhaps it is merely a respect for another war-warmongering country (none can deny that Israel is quite a powerhouse). I am not entirely sure.
Not like the jews were there before or anything. Not like the Palestinians didn't take over what is now known as israel in a hostile manner or anything. Israel is a powerhouse because they need to protect themselves from all sides. A single large nuke is capable of wiping israel off the map, thats why they NEED to be powerful. Is everything you think that anti-American?
Has the US announced their intention? It seems to me that a veto is an extreme move even considering their prejudice.
Prejudice isn't the correct word to describe it. How many wars has israel been in with those countries? How many times have those countries ignored the UN?(As for vox, this is all common knowledge. Not extraordinary claims or anything.)
I sincerely hope that Palestine can achieve membership. I guess we only have to wait 24 hours or so for results to be heard.
I hope they do too, being in the UN will mellow them out.
Good luck Palestine!

Here we go again.

Demonstrating a gross misunderstanding of Israel's foundation.
Perhaps because it is reminiscent of the take-over of Hawaii?
That's definitely it, we war-mongering 'mericans love peaceful takeovers that we later apologize for.
Perhaps because of the civil war from which USA was born?
Fighting for independence is not a hostile takeover, in fact, it's the complete opposite.
You'd be much better off pointing to our colonization of Texas and the western states.
Of course, this still does not say anything about our current stance. You might as well say Britian, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, and France were all terrible evils given their far greater history of colonization and hostile takeover.
Or perhaps it is merely a respect for another war-warmongering country (none can deny that Israel is quite a powerhouse). I am not entirely sure.
Or, much more realistically, it is because America was grudgingly pushed into involvement in the war, and refused a vast number of fleeing Jews that it could have reasonably accommodated.
The United States has been the ally of Israel (or Zionism, anyways) pretty much since its foundation (you know, back when it was 1% of the land fighting with homemade bombs against 6 Arab nations).
Has the US announced their intention? It seems to me that a veto is an extreme move even considering their prejudice.
Prejudice? That they regularly attacked or sponsor/endorse attacks on our allies is more than enough reason to keep them out of the U.N.
I sincerely hope that Palestine can achieve membership. I guess we only have to wait 24 hours or so for results to be heard.
Good luck Palestine!

The United States is already planning to veto, according to this.

So you would happily allow theNative AmericansBritish to slaughter all American women and children and take over USA, since 'they were there first'? I don't think you actually understand the situation. If it were you then you would be quite upset. I was not arguing as to way Israel needs a ridiculous amount of weaponry. Though as expected an American sympathised with their warmongering and excessive fire power.

How many times has Israel ignored the UN? For example they used white phosphorus shells on schools and UN camps (Paleistine also used the same tactic). This is highly illegal. The only reason the US finds this acceptable is because they broke the same international law in Iraq!
I sincerely hope that Palestine can achieve membership. I guess we only have to wait 24 hours or so for results to be heard.
I hope they do too, being in the UN will mellow them out.
I won't disagree with the desire for a peaceful resolution, however I do disagree with your assertion that Palestine are the aggressors.
Good luck Palestine!

Demonstrating a gross misunderstanding of Israel's foundation. Oh? Was the take-over peaceful? I laugh on your lapel!
Perhaps because it is reminiscent of the take-over of Hawaii?
That's definitely it, we war-mongering 'mericans love peaceful takeovers that we later apologize for. Firstly, Hawaii was taken over by military force. And actually one of your presidents was ashamed, but the next one happily supported the take-over. What does it mater if you apologize later? You destroyed their ability to function, killed their leaders, and even so you did not return the country. The apology was hollow and meaningless. Merely words.
Perhaps because of the civil war from which USA was born?
Fighting for independence is not a hostile takeover, in fact, it's the complete opposite. It seemed quite hostile to me, no matter how I look at it.
You'd be much better off pointing to our colonization of Texas and the western states. Then I shall, 'what about the colonization of Texas and the western states then?!'
Of course, this still does not say anything about our current stance. You might as well say Britian, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, and France were all terrible evils given their far greater history of colonization and hostile takeover. I would, if they had needlessly started wars in Vietnam, Afganistan, Iraq, etc. But they didn't, that was USA!
USA is ashamed for humanitarian reasons? That doesn't sound like them... These are the same guys who have a massive wall on their border next to Mexico, and will willingly export terrorists to Guantánamo to avoid having to abide by international law right?
The United States has been the ally of Israel (or Zionism, anyways) pretty much since its foundation (you know, back when it was 1% of the land fighting with homemade bombs against 6 Arab nations).Nice to know the US has supported Israel, even when they were just terrorists trying their best to kill everyone in sight!

"Allies" who are you referring to? As far as I know, Palestine is only hostile with Israel currently.
Good luck Palestine!

Good luck none the less!
Checkpoints wherever you go, disagree with the government, and get shot. It's pretty stupid. It's at the point where palestinians are throwing rocks at the guards of Israeli Checkpoints, because we just want freedom.
