So yeah.

I'm deciding to give SP a try.

Here's an old replay, with my first boom ever, and a newer replay, with.. well, a madman. I know they're shit. :P But I need C&C on what movements are best in SP.

I've played MP the whole time I've been in TB, so this is going to take some getting used to.

Cheers!

I may use these in combination, depending on how I'm feeling. However, if it's predominantly one type, I'll just use that tag.
More in the future, maybe.

The best tip I could ever give you is follow your own style, nobody can teach you, we can only give you general tips, because we don't know eachothers' style.

I'd say the general public likes smooth movements.

Lost my shit: The first kick was a good one for two reasons. It was completely clean and it allowed you for a nice grab, even though you went for a different grab than the one I was predicting.
The final kick could have been a true boomhit, but I like it this way, it was great anyway.

Crotchboom: The crotch boom was more of a slicing kick, but it wasn't very powerful.
I absolutely loved the pec kick. It's like you are completely improvising but you still made it look badass.
The grab2decap was short and nice, you don't really have a problem avoiding grab.

To be honest, I think you have quite an unique style. I'm digging your replays.

Good job on both, and gl.
oh yeah
Thanks, Pusga, I appreciate it. I have a hard time getting power booms. In fact, I've only really gotten that one that I posted. I never seem to get enough power, otherwise.

Any suggestions for achieving booms? "Pracitce," I know, but what should I practice?
Is it more about accuracy or more about speed?

To be honest, accuracy seems easier to achieve, but both are really important.
A relaxed ankle usually helps to get your foot inside uke. If you get enough speed, the foot will "enter" uke without hurting him. In that phase, try everything with the ankle and see what works. In the next frame, the force will be applied and it will probably be nasty, that's the best way to boomhit I know.
To get more speed, I usually move random joints that I'm not using. That plus the speedmeter (/sm 1) allows me to know if I got more speed but moving those joints.
Shook has a really nice tutorial for boomhits right here.
oh yeah
Some WIPs that are pissing me off.
The minimanips show what I've been trying to do and the best DM I can get is in minimanip 7. Pathetic, because I've had replays where I get 48 speed behind that punch, and the moment of highest speed is the frame I impact.

Also, I can't get a good dm on the manip attempt either. Sigh.

Comments?

And yeah, I've been trying for hours to get the impact right and get no success.

Because I Can is a new madman.

New replay.

C&C please.. I need it. Haha.

Also, added some tags to the first post that I'll be using to label my replays.

Hm I suck at cnc, So here goes nothing...
Well just to start this off, the first flip you did in the replay was very nice and smooth, but I found that the second one was alittle wierd.
I loved the torso throw, but it could of been better executed.
One more tip I have for you is to make longer replays, because I would have loved to see what you would have done after the throw

All in all I will give you 8/10, because I loved your flow throughout the replay.

Well I will CnC ''Phatetic''
Well at all it was good , It had good flow , the dm was clean , you could made a splitcap , but I guess that wasn't the point of it.
I really like the flips you make but when you make em you totally forget bout the hands that give the flips an ''effect'' that make em more realistic.
The pose was good.
8/10
Sorry but I suck at CnC since this is not my first idiom I kinda suck at explaining in english.
the opener was ok.
the punch was nice.
but it will be more col if you just decap uke in the last hit with that throw.
pose was cool.
