First off, tourneys are an important part of Toribash, and are especially important to most players of black belt or higher. This being said, a great deal of improvements can be added. One of the biggest issues with the tourneys is that
there isn't enough action, also they move too slow, and i have come up with an obvious yet ingenious way to fix that.

This particular format is known as the branch system, and is commonly used in competitive events.

-By redesigning the tourney into a Branch-style format it will allow for multiple matches to take place simultaneously. if there are 8 people in the tourney and each individual match lasts for about 2 minutes, the branch system will be able to determine the victor in only 6 minutes whereas the traditional format (which only allows for 1 match to take place in any given moment) will take 14 minutes to determine a victor.

-since multiple matches are taking place at one time, each player will get to fight much more frequently, there is nothing worse then having to wait 40 minutes for your match in the tourney.

I fully support this. Tourneys take waaay too long.

That would require multiple rooms for one tournament since 1 room = 1 match at a time.

even so it is a good idea however it would take a lot of work to put it into affect, however i'd like to see it implemented some day.

Instead of flooding the server rooms, maybe make a seperate tourney button on the menu.
