Hello, I am looking for an artist to make a logo for my team in DotA2.
We want it to look professional as we are aiming to try and get noticed soon.

The team name is "Ride with the Tide" Shortened to "RwtT" if that helps towards your artistic skills on the matter.

I have 30k TC that I can pay towards this, but the cost will vary between 5-30k depending on how half-assed the art is and how much work you put into it. (I will be generous with my TC as you guys are all I really have in terms of art skills) ( I will also pay extra if you guys finish it faster)

Sizes: I need it in 2 sizes. 250x150 and 256x256

I thought it might make it easier if I throw in some examples of current team logos.

I think there is too much going on with it. I want it more simple. I don't like the font too much either.

30k is bloody cheap for a professional logo. They're normally about $60 to $80, which would be up to 200k..
So, I'll do what you're paying me for.

Realized I got the name wrong about 1/2 way through VERY easily changed.

3 sizes: 2 the sizes you wanted, and a 3rd that's the biggest in case you ever need a bigger one (so you dont have to lose resolution) for t-shirts, bigger banners, or whatever have you.

How about something like this? Shield-ish with a wave and such.
White background easily changed to transparent.

I actually really like this, the font is nice, though a slight bit more watery effect would be cool, at the circles that are missing, maybe if they are somewhat similar to splashes



Overall I really like this.


$60-$80 would be a reasonable price if I was already a professional team being sponsored and already noticed.

I think 30k is more than reasonable for a team never heard of, just trying to start out. (I know that sounds incredibly rude of me, which I apologize for)

As for images, I think this one best suits the sort of idea I am going for, but is a bit too detailed.

@Fluttershy: It's ok, font is a bit weird though, more professional looking font would seem ok. As for the shield, the waves on it look a bit like they are just clip art from ms word or something. Would like better waves and font.

@Kradoxtb: It's kinda cool. I like the shape of the first image, however, the wave bit is too pointy on the inside of it(If you know what I mean by that). Would look better smoothed out.

As for the 256x256, I would like it similar to the shape of the 250x150.
