Maybe a Ban from Thread button would work.. In thread tools, you could enter a username and then click Ban from thread

They couldn't post on the thread anymore... maybe for a certain amount of time or forever, but they can still view the thread

seems like an interesting idea.

You could just report the guy. That guy will get banned for shitting up that thread. Done.

Oh this is great actually...It could also reduce certain ban sentences to less then what they are. For example, insults/racism/bad language can result in you not being allowed to post threads/posts or messages ingame. This system kind of acts like a parole. They can reduce your 1 month ban to 20 days and for the next 10 days you will be restricted from doing something linked to your ban. But the ban system isn't a prison so maybe that's not the best idea.

Use the report button to report the shitty posts. If they're legit shit then the staff will deal with who ever it is.

Trying to cock-block a user by the suggested method will just result in them making alts & mass shit posting just to piss you off.

No, not really Skul. Who would waste time making another acc just to piss you off? Plus, it would really be great if it will be implemented. Its a benefit for the staff also cause there jobs just got easier.

People could ban you from a thread just because they don't like your opinions.

We have a report button for a reason. Just tell the person not to post there anymore and if he does, report him. Its pretty simple.

Problem, If you were to "ban" a person from a thread you could also ban the staff. They wouldn't be able to comment on missing content/close your thread. You'll be better off just reporting a user.
