Okay I don't know why this isn't there, but I saw a new player asking about this the other day and wanted to know more about it myself.

Why doesn't the in-game Toribash client have a log out button?

I mean its a pretty simple function and I would hate to log into my account at a friend's house and then find out he was playing around on my account later because I can't log out of his client or for someone to access my account on my computer when I'm away and mess with stuff.

how about you just not check the "remember me" box when logging in, your info won't be saved when you restart the client

unless you leave it on when you're afk for whatever reason, reopening the client shouldn't be too much work

Having a go around method that requires me to not use a basic function is not an actual answer. A log out button is a basic feature of even the most simple game and should be a feature here as well. The forum has a log out button, so why not the in-game client.

it's probably because the situations you used as examples aren't common enough for it to be implemented, you're like the only one who has complained about this so far

plus it's pretty stupid imo, you can change accounts without exiting the client, and if you're going afk just turn it off (uncheck the stupid remember me box though, if it's not too much work)

What ever argument you put out there its still irrelevant. A log out button is a basic necessity for any game out there. This is probably the only game that has a log in button, but not a log out button. If you can come up with any other examples of a game with accounts that can sign in but not out then please show me them.

Your argument right now is equivalent to saying, "So what if he was born without one leg, he can still hop around so there is no need to fix it."

Good example, is what I would say if it was. There are already tons of forums of people complaining about the lack of this button with good reasons behind it. So instead of giving a bad example why don't you show me a game where there is no log out button and people aren't complaining about it.

the only thing a logout button would be useful for in league is switching accounts which is a no-no in the first place

could you show what the "good reasoning" is or provide any links for it

Shiro is right, no need to be so agressive on him.
This game allows you to not to remember your account while logging in, and this helps with the examples you shown.
You want a game that has log in button but doesn't have log out button? It's Toribash, babeh! And you're first here to complain about this.

You're all missing the fact that you can go into "setup" in the main menu and then type in random letters in the password and click login....

Although yes, there should be a logout feature. but I have never seen any issues about logging into toribash on two computers with the same account(I have a lot of computers). unless if say, you where trying to play multiplayer on the same account.. although I don't know if that would stop you as well.
Also having alternative accounts, as much as it is taboo, is not illegal here in toribash, don't compare it to LoL :P
Done some testing, you can't have the same account in one room for obvious reasons, but you can login to your account, and even play on multiplayer in another room at the same time.


TL;DR: Not an issue, but we should have a logout button non-the less. also you should really learn to untick "Remember password" on computers that don't belong to you :P Can't be to paranoid.
