Personally I hope all the people who genuinely believe the world will end tomorrow will kill themselves. Anyone remember Heaven's Gate cult case? I want something like that, only on a more massive scale. I would feel sorry for the kids involved (being brainwashed as a kid is too easy), but imagine the benefit to the gene pool.

Guys, all these 'crack pots' making dates for when the world is going to end are actually saving us. Without them, the world could end at any moment, and we wouldn't even know what hit us. The bible clearly states that no one would know when it would happen. If we woke up each morning knowing a certain date was going to be the end, God couldn't possibly make that day be the end, thus allowing us to continue another day. On top of living for another day we'd be able to have a celebration everyday and life would be good. I also think that theories that last for a long amount of time rather than just a single day are good, too. The rapture is supposedly going to take place over 5 months or so, that's 5 months of not having to know that the world is going to end the next day and instead is easier to just know that for the entire time period the world is ending.
