Well, I can see that you are not well informed about overpopulation.
Space is the least problem.
Food and poverty the things we need to worry about.
Africa's overpopulation problem tends to be caused by poverty. People do not have the ressources to get their shit done etc
In China the problem is the amount of food. 20% of all people on this planet live in China.
Going with “I'd assume city expansion” to solve the problem is, uh, not very accurate.

So, I ask again:
How could it possibly be solved without abortions?

I am trying to get this discussion on a less abstract level.
If you want abortion to be abolished without proper solutions it is not going to work.

How are you?
No, I'm not well informed about overpopulation. And no, I don't have a solution.

Wiggi must love me forever now.
In that case you can't oppose China's one-child policy on rational grounds. Even if you had a solution, it would not work because if China was able to import enough ressources, have enough room etc for an increasing population other countries and people would suffer.
A rich country with a high demand for something causes the prices to increase greatly.
You'd have to chose the well being of one nation over others.

But you can use the very same argument the other way around for other countries.
Germany, for example has around 80 million people.
The birthrates are low so the amount of people decreases. That, too, is a problem.
How are you?
