Issues/Concerns/Ideas/Etc. - Other junk

I'd like to introduce a more effective ranking schema in order to define responsibilities within the clan. These ranks will not be represented within the "Toribash forum" system - they will be documented and presented on the clan page and updated there as well. Any changes to the ranks of players will be stated in clan update posts.


As you can see, each "group" in the system has a training and active tier. The training tier implies interest and evaluation, the second tier grants actual responsibility. InGame members are in charge of recruitment, clan events, ingame participation, and reporting ingame events to Forum members. Forum members are in charge of keeping track of the forum, keeping forum activity up, and facilitating events that occur ingame.

Scamps are essentially players under a trial basis. They can be kicked without prior notification. Once the polling system is up we'll use it to democratically validate their membership and they'll be moved to warrior. Players in a warned state will also be moved to "Scamp" rank, thus any additional issues will result in an immediate kick.

Magi and Warlords can: invite, uninvite, and change the ranks of users.

If anyone has ideas for events, I would like to start running some ad-hoc ones at a minimum (I've purchased VIP for the reduced broadcast pricing). One every weekend is my goal. Clan-only or generally (we'll use some bank TC or my own to broadcast). Think of something fun, post in the forum about it.

I'd also like to start up some forum activities if everyone is cool with it. Like sharing things about your lives, how your day was, maybe a picture of yourself if you feel "daring" haha (yeah that's me). I'm 20, random fact lol.

I'm working on developing a number of systems (for my personal financial gain) in addition to assisting our clan. This includes an ad-hoc chat system, an ad-hoc polling system, a tool assisted marketeering system, and a system for the democratic tracking of member status and activity.

If anyone would like further information about any of the above, please contact me through whatever means.

Essentially I'd like to build logistical tools for us to break the existing barriers around:

• Member management
• Activity tracking
• Clan size
• Clan economic participation
• Clan being awesome as hell

I'd like to find a member at some point willing to manage art for the clan: videos, textures, signatures - essentially original content to promote the clan and generate revenue. Whoever they end up being, I'll be here to assist with any of the above, I'm capable with most tools for the construction of these.

Do note that I do have a full-time job in addition to all of this, so there are going to be days I don't have time to do a full update or get on the forum.




Call for Volunteers/Things I need done

I need:

• Someone to be active online and report to me on who is being the most active ingame and who the most trustworthy individuals in the clan are. After two weeks I'm going to purchase toriboosters for the two most active ingame members based upon this information. I'd like them to contribute the majority 75-80% of the TC they generate to the clan. The remainder they'll be able to keep for themselves. I want 2 or 3 volunteers to report to me on this for the selection process, the two selected members will also be asked to watch one another's ingame activity in order to report on the other's - your opinion of your own activity will be ignored.
  
• Someone to keep track of new member applications on the forum and give thorough initial evaluations of them. I'd like to have these organized better than the one dimensional travesty a clan DSC thread is. I essentially just need someone to let me know about them and pull the information into the management system.

Regardless of contact method I'm going to need your email addresses - I'm going to use a project management system that I'm used to (it's free below 30 participants, so no worries) to communicate with you and keep track of the aforementioned information.

- Given 70k of the TC in the bank is my own I'd like to use it to essentially pay these volunteers. I feel comfortable using it for this - each volunteer will get 1k TC to start and 2k TC when I feel satisfied with their help.
