new petition: 4v4 is shit, 3v3 is shit, 2v2 and 1v1 for true skill match-ups. just have the captains assign 2v2 and 1v1 players (have two 2v2 matches and one 1v1 per early matches and add on for semi-finals and finals or something for example), also 3, 4 or 5 stock as timed is boring, way better matches with stock.

I have thought of all of this and we need to get everyone to play, we will be starting the event with 4v4s 50% damage 1 stock, going lower in players fighting and higher in stock and damage as we eliminate other teams and go through the rounds, maps don't really matter we can pick that during matchups.

SO
We all fight round 1 with 4v4 50% damage 1 stock no team damage
round 2 3v3 75% damage 2 stock again no team damage
round 3 2v2 100% damage 3 stock
final round will be 2 fights 1v1 mvps 100% damage 3 stock

4v4 is needed for everyone who signed up to participate and it's ok with these settings just don't lose track of yo champion.
