I don't see a point in talking about old ranking system changes (even though I disagree that qi ranking was better than elo ranking and that rank rewards with ranking resets made anything worse), so let's cover the most recent update:
- We changed reset period for ranking from 1 month to 3 months (this was asked for since at least early 2016)
- Daily rank 1 prizes were replaced with prizes for top 100 at the end of the season (same here, it was suggested by the community years ago)
- Using matchmaking system to prevent cherry-picking opponents
- Elo penalties for almost any way of quitting mid-session
Add belt restrictions and fixed mod choice to that and here you have most of the suggestions by community added in just the first season. How's that bad? Matchmaking doesn't get you matched with an opponent same belt and rank as you are within 5 seconds? You need to have zero knowledge of Toribash playerbase to expect that and staff or developers aren't to blame here. If we had 2k concurrent players average and the system would match you with brownbets all the time when you're custom then it'd be a legit complaint, when there's 30 players in matchmaking and 26 of them are currently in a fight then you either get matched with whoever's online or not matched at all.
There is still one bug that allows you to prevent elo penalty that hasn't been fixed but we place manual bans on people who abuse it.
These two things are the only complaints about the current system that come to my mind. If you have any other complaints and suggestions on making system better, please share here:

...and in the end of the day it would have been better off for everyone if just you let it be as it was and focused on other issues. Like the moon physics and introducing mods where toris are heavy and not made of cardboard paper. Or some bugs and glitches that you finally removed but it took you literally years to do so.
"Moon physics" is
not an issue. You can make a custom mod, increase bodypart weight, and get a heavy tori not made of cardboard paper. Changing default model's parameters, however, will break 99% of all existing mods and would have negative impact.
I don't agree with your method of collecting data via 'community polls'. I don't think it's accurate. I think it's lazy. Especially after saying you won't contact players who actually play the mods. You got more important stuff to do, I guess. Cool.
Can't tell if you're being serious here. I never said that community polls are the main way of collecting data, read my post again. We primarily monitor player activity in rooms, if rooms aren't popular they get removed. The fact that a poll showed similar results to what we got from activity monitoring only proved our choice was right. GTBoxing is a good fun mod but there are other mods around that more people like.
As for contacting players, we do that. If we never asked for
your personal opinion it doesn't mean that we don't speak to anyone else. Toribash still gets ~20k players daily so your chances of getting spoken to by staff unless you post on forum are pretty low. I don't see anything wrong about it, you're either being active and trying to get things changed, or just playing the game as it is. The only thing we ask for is to stay constructive - saying "EVERYTHING IS BAD AND STAFF DON'T CARE" isn't helping anyone.
There's always room for improvement and we try to work on suggestions that actually make sense.
I don't think the ES, whoever they are, are doing the best of jobs regarding managing servers. I remember when taekyon was really popular. Then the servers started getting shut down without a reason. Then put back up again. Then shut down again after 3 months or so. The cycle continued several times until most of taekyon players apparently got discouraged. I actually blame the ES (or whoever was messing with taekyon servers for all those years) for abruptly killing off the taekyon community.
First of all, ES are a voluntary group, same as the majority of Toribash staff. According to that, Nabi can't
force them to work if they're not doing good enough (which is not the case now tbh, they're doing pretty fine).
Secondly, I might be missing on this but I don't remember taekkyon being taken off both public and belt-restricted room mod rotation. We used to have like 15 public rooms before the latest change, then we switched to current rotation when belt-restricted rooms have higher default tc value with mods from matchmaking rotation and public rooms have 10 TC per win with more relaxed mods. TK and ErthTKv2 have logically been available in belt-restricted mods since then - which shouldn't be an issue for you considering your belt.
Thirdly, if the tk community suffered so much, why haven't you contacted staff members earlier? I assure you that there are plenty tk fans among staff and if it was in fact removed from all rooms, you'd get it reinstated pretty quickly.
