Should I be worried? I got it due to useless posting. The mod said that it will expire? How long will I have to wait?

Don't worry about it too much. But, if you get what's called an "infraction build-up" then you can be banned for up to a day.
Just try to contribute to the thread your posting in, rather than random stuff.
