Hah, sham and I both were in Silver literally a week or two before they added the new rank system. I somewhat wish I stopped playing after I hit silver, because now I wouldn't be in Bronze IV trying to climb out, lol.
Sham: You have to literally carry your team, be a champ that can literally carry a 4v5 or 3v5. Also, even if your team has more kills, sometimes it doesn't matter because the other team can have close to the same gold if not more gold than your team because of dragons, cs, etc. It really depends on how you play and if you can carry.
It's possible to win a 4v5, I've done it before and I'm the reason we won. It's hard, yes, but if you can't do things like this (carry etc.), you'll never leave bronze.
