I dont see why a quote couldnt count as it, i mean technically theyre still a bunch of words.
For example, if someone were to post a big long explanation (like what im doing now :P) about something and u wanted to simply say that u agree with them (which in a way could forward the conversation in the right context) but u have nothing else to add because the other guy said it all, then it would just end up looking like a shitpost because they would have to make up a filler.
I honestly think it just comes down to whether or not your post has any value to it, granted, that usually takes up about 10-15 words, but it might not always come to that.

Quotes should not be counted, because they are not your words. The words there are for you to type, and while you are right that there are some short post that "can" just agree with a statement and not harm the conversation, its also possible to just agree in 15 words, here I'll do it for you.

Positive: Butter I see what you are trying to saying there and I completely agree with it.
Negative: No butter, I honestly just can't agree with what you're saying, it doesn't make sense to me.

As for the Pictures now. Saying you can use pictures for your word count is like giving someone that doesn't know how to fight a double sided sword. While he has a chance of cutting something he also has a chance of cutting himself, and the fact that he's new to it means he'll most likely cut himself. Pictures can be great and all and I've seen Yaysian use them pretty well, but there are some people that would abuse that system and just post stupid shit. So the system of 15 words plus is still the most "effective" system at the current moment that leaves no space for error.

I totally agree with u about the quotes, i didnt think of it like that, but i still kind of dont agree with the picture stuff. Again, i see what youre saying but i feel like it only applies to, like u said, "people who are new to it". I think the goal of being a leader is not to tell ppl what to do, but to prepare ppl who can make smart, thought out decisions on their own. If u give a 4th grader a knife and tell him not to cut himself, he'll most likely end up cutting himself anyway. But give a 4th grader a knife and show him how to handle it and to not goof off with it, chances are much greater that he wont mess up. So basically as long as we show what is good, then most will follow the example, and thus leading to a more mature group of people
