The tree rate in Lebanon means almost nothing because there are so few trees there anyway. Deforestation is a massive problem if it happens in places where there are millions of hectares (the Amazon for example).

1. It is of great importance here since we're the only "green" country in the middle east we're nicknamed the green lebanon ( its a translation from arabic)

Deforestation in the Amazon is too profitable for it to stop. Plus India's project more than compensates for the deforestation in Lebanon, and for that matter a lot of other places.

Your forgetting the fact that India is getting overpopulated, India + China makes approx 1.3 milliards of people
They will plant trees, but where? in the mountain region? they'll need cedars or trees of those kind, on the coast? it;s already overpopulated and you're already looking at seasony "mussons" ( in french don't know the word in english) that come in summer, all there's left is they're middle region which is arid area which will create problems for them to plant
So yea they will plant but it can't acheive great numbers :/

It actually doesn't matter if they plant trees, because pollution plus extreme water usage will completely fuck up the world before global warming.
