Forgot to post a story here.
Thought it might be a good idea to post all the interesting things i'd found during my adventures!

A week ago I started a new character in Skyrim and had recently finished the quest where you kill your first dragon. I was then heading towards Dawnstar on a road, rounded a corner and was greeted by an Orc wearing imperial armor.
He told me that this was a "toll road, citizen" and that a fee of 100 gold would be sufficient to pass. He said "citizen" a lot. He had two other companions with him - a Dark Elf and a Breton woman. I had caught on that these were bandits impersonating Imperial guardsmen (Imperial guardsmen are all Imperials after all) and so refused to pay them and killed them all. A short journey down the road and I discovered the naked corpses of 3 Imperials on the side of the road :P

Also found a skeletal hand holding an orcish sword in the middle of a lake. Obviously a reference to the Lady of the Lake.

Somewhere far north I found a skeleton hunched over a chest, with a tattered flag planted lopsidedly in the ice beside him. He was named, iirc. Something to do with "follower". Possibly "the last follower of..." Not quite sure. Must go check again some time.

There's also a lot of speculation going on about insects in jars. There are 5 in total, and each has some kind of runes on the bottom of their lids. I personally have only found the Dragonfly in a Jar, which I found *spoiler*inside an orcish stronghold after retrieving the Forgemaster's Fingers gauntlets.*spoiler*
I'm hoping to find the others and possibly find their purpose.
lol cool info

I always wondered about all the random symbols scratched in to doorways and such. There is one symbol for theives guild, and several that don't seem to be affiliated. Anyone else notice?
Yeah, there's a book about them in the Ragged Flagon. They're like the Thieves Guild version of Hobo symbols. They tell you whether there's good loot to be had, or a Thieves Guild house, and other stuff iirc.

For example, there's one on Belethor's shop in Whiterun that says he's got loot, and one on the Companion's entrance archway thing which I don't remember what it means. If I can find that book again I'll post pictures of what the symbols all mean.

Shadowmarks iirc.

Anyone made an attempt to collect all the books?

Got the game the day it came out.

Made a high elf mage. Two weeks later, had done both the main quest and all the side questlines.

Eagerly awaiting the expansion pack.

Go do the other weeks worth of stuff you haven't done whilst you wait or build another character?

CALL 911 NOW! WAAAAAB WAB WAB
Started my weaponsmaster redguard girl, level 9, so annoying being weak, I called her Storm because that's essentially what she'll represent. Blood and bones will fly around her as she cuts a deadly path through her enemies. Also, I will frequently use dual swords, probably with shocks enchantments, use the Call Storm shout as I enter large outdoor battles, and I will essentially rush all of my targets, like a furious storm, tearing them apart.

Does anybody know what level you have to be before shops start stocking banish enchanted weapons? I have like 20k and I was in the Fletcher's for like an hour and nothing.
