Use Cheat Engine on Minecraft, and activate Speed-hack. Set the speed to 0.99 (1.)+ Will Crash It). You should get a high high high FPS.

I'm using that mod bio brought up earlier. It seems to be working pretty well for me.

I've done so much shit to minecraft to make it run decently.
1)installed optimine
2)set "javaw.exe" to high priority
3)gamebooster
4)defragged my hdd
5)delete a bunch of useless shit

Even after all that, short render, fast, smooth graphics. 20fps :,D
