Yu Gi oh is a better show to watch and has like different varieties pokemon you know what to expect

lol do you? Also in terms of repeditivity. Like hell it is. You know that joey matt, or Yugi will win. Unless its people like Kiba who are just to bad ass. Mokiba is ok but lets face it. He is no match for the king of the cards. Also ash looses some of his battle in the most craziest of ways. Lets not also forget that Pokemon was the first show ever to include meme saying like Squirrtles (Deal With it) or (like a boss) shades. And the fact that Pokemon is more relation shipped based then just throwing down a couple of combo cards. Like Pegaus' horn on that green creature. So the only thing yu-gi-ho has a chance of beating pokemon in is maybe story telling. If and only if you dont include all the movies pokemon made. Because lets face it. Yu-gi-ho didnt make any movies that hit the charts IRL like pokemon 2000, or Pokemon 3.
