ToriExchange - buy low, sell high
We have a new market place for items:
http://forum.toribash.com/tori_exchange.php

You can place both sell and buy order on it. An example two orders would be:
- "I want to buy 10 Orc Blood for 100 TC"
- "I want to sell one of my Orc Bloods for 100 TC".

The exchange will take care of matching the best price for you. And the orders will be available until they match or for a month.

The exchange has a separate place to keep items called the "Portfolio". You can transfer items from your ingame inventory to the portfolio using the "Transfer" link.
It seems like there aren't any good items being sold at the exchange anymore. Anyone else think so? Seems like it is dying.
Also, it wouldn't let me trade amy trails.

Yay, with this system I'll finally be able to get rid of that chronos dq I accidentally bought!
Upward climbs to success are fine, but downward spirals to destruction are way more fun.
Ehm, I saw someone selling shaman force for 6 TC (yeah, SIX TC), the highest and only bid was 100tc, I put a 500TC bid. Who gets the item?

The Exchange isn't set up like an auction, so there's no such thing as a bid. Are you sure you weren't reading the wrong column?

Assuming neither the buy or the sell price is zero, then it's impossible for there to be a listed sell price on the Exchange that's lower than the highest buy price.

For example, take a look at Titan Force's price on the Exchange. It's got a listed Buy Price of 9TC, with a Sell Price of 10,000TC. This means that at the moment, the most anybody's willing to spend on that item is 9TC, while the lowest anybody's selling it for is 10,000TC.

So you see, there can't be a situation where those numbers would be reversed. If someone really was selling a Shaman Force for 6TC, then as soon as somebody put a Buy Order up at 100TC, then the item would have been sold instantly. The same goes if the Buy Order was in first: the person putting the item up at less than the Buy Order would have sold it instantly.
