I think the shot itself gave our soldier's positions away, unless they are supressed with a silencer. Then that's when it gave them away.

I love the electricity gun in killzone 2

i love the guns in JAK 3. The Plasmite RPG, The Super Nova, The Gyro Burster, and the Needle Laser.

The Ion Beam Cannon from F.E.A.R. By God, it burns the skin and flesh off and makes them skeletons. And it's a sniper-rifle. Double Win.

Earthshaker missile from Descent 2. It can clean a big room of baddies with one shot. Also, I like Descent 3's Black Shark missile.

The Daishi from MechWarrior IV. Sure, technically its a vehicle, but it still should count. 100 tons of badass destruction, with more firepower than anything else in the game and the capability (if you cheated the armor in some places) to mount 3 of the biggest guns in the game? Hellz yeah.

No, they would hear everything.

It's the *ping* that let's the enemy know that they are out of ammo. That's when they move in to attack.

The friendly soldiers devised a plan to counter this, by dropping a bullet shell on a rock. It made a similar *ping*, leading enemy soldiers into an ambush.

I learned this in history class last month =D

I thought Hidden Blade from Assassin's Creed was a neat idea.
Redeemer from Unreal Tournament was just crazy.
Lancer from Gears, I mean it has a chainsaw attached...
For a close 4th, I would say splicer of Resistance 2, similar to the Ripper in Unreal Tournament and Dead Space.
