I took Spanish in 8th and 9th grade.
I hated it so much.
Why the fuck do I have to learn a foreign language, when I live in America?
It is our law that THEY must speak English.

We live in 'Murica, and here we only speak 'murican!

I have to take two years, or four semesters, as well. I live about 20 minutes from the US/Mexico boarder, so learning Spanish is apparently pretty important.
Unfortunately, we only have 2 languages we can learn to pass the requirements: Spanish or Tagalog, which is some Philippino language one chemistry teacher teaches because she doesn't want all 5 of her classes to be chemistry.

I sometimes troll because not everyone knows english here in Paraguay, and they just stare at me like "what did you just say?". Wont recommend it tho, they get annoyed. xd
