maybe im just greiving my poor Lydia's death (i killed her by accident)

i will never "spam" fireballs from my hands or staff ever again *cries*

i left her corpse inside a vampire's cave :/


she was really good at carrying my burdens... i miss her XD

I can't even count how many times I killed lydia while I was fighting stormcloaks. I just go all butthurt and reload an earlier save though, no biggy.

With my very first character I tried backstabbing a giant at level 12. Needless to say he was only very slightly irritated and then chased me. Lydia decided to fight him whilst I ran like a coward.
Next thing you know, Lydia gets smacked over a mountain and I never saw her again...

Ahh yes, usually when a giant hits you at a low level, you're bound to go on a ride. I saw this mage fight a giant, got smashed with that stick, went sky high. I waited a good 10 secs but the mage never came back down

i thought lydia couldn't die

anyway she's so slow, i had to wait an hour everytime she fell behind.

eventually she never came back...

Almost same experience, I started to fight 2 giants and a mammoth, I ran, Lydia stayed, I cam back, she was nowhere to be found I killed the remaining giant with my serpent stone power. I tried looking for her, but I couldn't find her, so maybe she got knocked into the sky. So I ran off, Then sometime later shes behind me.

In Blackreach, I parted ways with Lydia, and she left and a while later I left blackreach to sell my stuff and use my soul gems, I went home, to find that she was missing. For a couple of days I thought she died. Then I ran out of soul gems and decided to go back to blackreach to collect some geode ore and crimson nirn, and there I find her standing in front of an elevator lever.

I was so relieved, other than those two times she has hardly come to close to death, I die before she does most of the time. Unrelenting Force and Ebony Bow Draugr Deathlords are annoying.

Only you can kill her, not anything/anyone else.

Also yeah I agree, but she usually falls behind because she can easily get stuck behind stuff trying to follow you.

I eventually lost her too. I haven't seen her for a while now.

She teleports to you and she can die. If you ever seen her charge 5 Falmer gloomlurkers at once you would see that she can die.
