Welcome to the thread for the ToriCraft Minecraft server! The minecraft community within toribash is growing bigger and getting stronger every day, and now with the ToriCraft server, we can now all unite under the same

We have an adequate amount of player slots and RAM for the first few months and room for expansion. In this thread I would urge you to share your experiences on the server. Post images, videos, ideas and anything else you can imagine. Invades are welcome as-well, so if you like Minecraft

The Gamemaster is the ingame moderation rank on the server. Similiar to toribash, they moderate in-game and deal with contraversies. They're given muting, kicking, and banning commands as-well as block-logging abilities to identify griefers. Along with their ingame duties, a Gamemaster also assists administrators with whitelisting. The Gamemaster has access to all activated whitelist codes, and also can look at MCServer's transaction history to figure out who paid. Ingame they are given the /whitelist add command as-well.
In your app, try to use over 2 paragraphs. I suggest explaining previous minecraft and toribash experience, as well as any past moderating experience. Sources, referalls, and detail can do nothing but help you. Good luck.

To join the server, we have a small 5000tc white-list fee that pays for the costs of the server.
This fee is equivalent to roughly 50 cents and allows us to pay for your slot on the server.
I would like to urge you that this payment has no refunds, and we won't be held accountable for refunding players if the server goes offline.

1.) Go to
https://minecraft.net/download and download the game launcher.
2.) Login to your account in the launcher

4.) Check the box that says "Allow use of old "Beta" Minecraft versions"
5.) Select the "Use Version" dropdown and pick old_beta b1.7.3
6.) Save profile and now it should say "Ready to play Minecraft b.1.7.3"
7.) Login and connect to the IP address "tb.mindservers.net"
1.) Download the most recent version of
MagicLauncher from this site.

Beta 1.7.3 Jar file and save it to your desktop (or a folder where you can find it again)
3.) Open MagicLauncher
4.) Click Setup in the bottom-right
5.) Press "Select" and pick your jar file that you downloaded earlier (2nd download)

Q: I don't own minecraft. Can I still play on the server?
Absolutely. The server runs in "Offline-mode" meaning that it's independant from minecraft's login services. This means that anyone can use any name they want.
The server is in offline-mode because it uses an old version of minecraft (Beta 1.7.3) and the new login services don't support it anymore.
Q: I accidently sent the tc to TheMindStormMan instead of MCServer. Now what?
Don't worry. I'll forward your fee to MCServer and whitelist you regardless, it's pretty easy to recognize where a random 5k payment came from.
Q: How long does it take to be whitelisted?
Generally I'd like to say within 24hours, but seeing as whitelisting can sometimes be a complicated process it may take slightly longer.
When you are whitelisted you will be notified within this thread
and/or added to the forum members list.
Q: How long does it take for a GM app to finish being reviewed?
We tend to discuss and compare GM apps for quite some time. Unless you're a sure choice, it will generally take a few weeks for us to completely analyze and review your skills.
Q: I don't have 5000tc, how can I join the server?
We don't want to limit the server to only the wealthy, so as a result we offer many free white-list code opportunities. We will occasionally host tournaments, betting servers, and hotseat servers in toribash with a white-list code as the prize. You can also check this forum thread for codes as-well, sometimes I will throw out a few codes, or post a forum trivia question for you to answer to receive the code.
Q: What if the server shuts down?
On the unlikely scenario that the server shuts down, entry fees will not be repaid. However, the map download as well as all the server files will be put up for public download incase someone else wants to revive the server.
Q: What is the white-list fee for?
This fee is very important to the success of the server. Due to minecraft's new EULA, we are no longer allowed to sell in-game enhancing donation packages. As a result, we require a small entry fee in order to cover our monthly hosting costs. If you think about it like this: every slot for the server is 50cents/month. That 5,000 toricredits is then converted to 50cents and used to pay for your slot for that month. As long as we keep getting new players every month, we will keep being able to pay for the server. We allow white-list codes, because then players that cannot normally pay at least still have a chance at enjoying the server, and then also the players that did pay can have a better experience with more people.
